Examples of personal portrait photography permitted during the Portrait Hour are: weddings, engagements, personal social media, senior portraits, family portraits, birthdays, proposals, anniversaries, bachelor/bachelorette parties and portfolio use (i.e. the photographer or model's personal website and/or personal social media, showcasing work ~ not for sale).
You may NOT publish, sell, reproduce, transfer, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the images in any manner whatsoever without written permission from The Neon Museum.

Neon Museum staff have the authority to approach and verify the intent of photography and to enforce the Photography Policy. We reserve the right to deny permission to photograph and may request that the individual/group leave the premises and forfeit their admission fee.
Shoots for editorial or commercial purposes (advertising, marketing,TV/Film, etc.) are NOT permitted during this time. Commercial shoots must be pre-approved and scheduled in advance.
The Neon Museum defines commercial use as: images used directly in the marketing and promotion of a product, service, artist, individual or business.
Examples of commercial use NOT permitted during the Portrait Hour include: music videos, company head-shots, fashion shoots, social media advertisements, web series, marketing materials, commercials, TV shows, feature films, documentaries, etc.
The Museum defines portfolio use as a collection of work which is not for sale or used commercially. The Museum defines personal portrait photography as all posed portraiture of individuals or groups by a designated professional or amateur photographer, whether the photographer is paid or unpaid. The Neon Museum reserves the right to further define portrait and portfolio photography on a case-by-case basis.
The Museum NEVER allows for stock photography to retail items with images of the Museum collecton.
The displays within the Neon Museum are copyrighted works and may not be filmed, photographed or recorded for any commercial purpose without prior written consent of the The Neon Museum, Inc.

Valentine's Day Portrait Hour in the Main Boneyard at 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (1 hour)
Portrait Hour usually takes place in the North Gallery only, but this February 14th it will take place in the Main Boneyard where the primary museum collection is held.
Your photographer may bring all of their chosen equipment including tripods, multiple cameras, extra lenses, lights, props, etc.
