Description
Sunset Portrait Hour in the NORTH GALLERY
Take personal portraits with your own photographer in a shared space for 1 hour at the perfect time of day.

Tickets are released a few months in advance.
Portrait Hours are pre-scheduled and take place in the NORTH GALLERY at golden hour (the hour before sunset). None of the signs in the North Gallery are functioning or illuminated. However, this area also has no stanchions (ropes) in front of the signs, making it ideal for portraiture.
You will NOT have access to the main Neon Boneyard (where the signs are lit) during this Portrait Hour. If you would like to book the Neon Boneyard, where the signs are restored and lit, please book a Late Night Photo Hour or a Private Shoot.
The Neon Museum does not provide a photographer so you’ll need to provide your own. Your photographer may bring all of their chosen equipment including tripods, multiple cameras, extra lenses, lights, props, etc. Drones are not permitted.
This is a shared space with up to 15 guests total, also taking photos. The number of tickets is limited so you'll have plenty of space to get the perfect shot.
All members of your party, including the photographer, assistants, and other guests, must have a Portrait Hour ticket to enter.
If the pre-scheduled Portrait Hour dates don’t work with your schedule, you prefer to have the space all to yourself, if you will be using the images commercially, you will need to book a private photo shoot.
Wedding ceremonies and officiants are not permitted during Portrait Hours. Please book ceremonies through our Events Department.
Images captured during Portrait Hours are for personal use only. Portfolio use and social media showcasing work (not for sale), personal blogs, and home décor is permitted. The displays within The Neon Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit, are copyrighted works and may not be filmed, photographed, or recorded for any commercial or editorial purpose (to promote any business, publications, media, or sold to a third party) without the prior written consent of The Neon Museum, Inc. If you're interested in a commercial or editorial shoot please, book a private shoot here.
