STEAM Saturdays: Bending in the Neon Boneyard

Description

STEAM Saturdays is a Neon Museum program that offers a fun and hands-on set of activities, presentations and demonstrations designed to promote creative and critical thinking. This series is offered each month to families every second Saturday from 10am-12pm, weather permitting.

In July, The Neon Museum focuses on the art and science of neon glass bending. Join the STEAM Saturdays team for a family-friendly, hands-on exploration of sign-making and neon science. Go through part of the bending process yourself with a hands-on pipe cleaner activity resulting in a miniature “neon” sculpture to take home.
